    The Coast Guard Cutter Katherine Walker, several Canadian navy warships and U.S. Navy warships offered tours to Staten Island's local community and visitors on the island's Homeport Pier during Fleet Week May 22, 2009. Visitors to Staten Island's Homeport Pier were able to hear a Canadian navy bagpiper onboard the HMCS Fredericton, home ported in Halifax, Nova Scotia. (Official Coast Guard video for release)

    NEW YORK--The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Katherine Walker, a 175-foot buoy tender homeported in Bayonne, N.J., and the Coast Guard Auxiliary gave tours to hundreds of children from Staten Island's public schools, teaching them about navigation and shipboard life as part of Fleet Week here May 21, 2009.
